Krantz is supporting the construction of two new buildings on the Schacht Konrad site in Salzgitter. The first final storage facility for low and medium-level radioactive waste authorised under nuclear law in Germany is being built. The planning and technical requirements for the buildings to be erected are correspondingly high. These will be planned and realised under the supervision of the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Disposal (BASE) and will be earthquake-proof. Furthermore, the ventilation systems to be installed there are also subject to particularly high safety requirements. The proven ventilation technology from Krantz provides the basis for safe and smooth operation of the systems. This is because we are characterised by our know-how and expertise, particularly in the field of nuclear ventilation systems and emergency systems.
