Construction of solar park and substation

    La Cabrita, Spain

La Cabrita is the first out of four solar farms of the Tinosa Pipeline in Spain. With a total capacity of 50 MWp, the PV plant annually generates approx. 87 GWh of energy owing to the high insolation in the Tabernas desert (Almería).

In August 2021, the solar farm was completed by SENS – Iqony Solar Energy Solutions Ibérica and since then has been feeding clean energy into the local grid via the substation “La Serrata” constructed by SENS.

This allows to decrease the annual CO2 emissions by 25,000 tons.
