The team of engineers from Iqony Solutions (IQS) was responsible for the technical planning and realization of 90 MW battery storage system (6 x 15 MW) for primary control reserve.
The specialists worked closely with the general contractor Nidec, the battery cell supplier LG Chem and the construction company. The IQS scope of work included (selection):
- Efficiency & investment planning
- Procurement planning
- Construction & commissioning supervision
- Authority permission engineering
- Integration into the I&C systems
