Construction of thermal waste utilization plants on the islands of Java and Bali, Indonesia
In order to be able to cope with the increasing amount of waste in the future, the Indonesian government Iqony Solutions (IQS) with a feasibility study on the construction of two thermal waste utilization plants on the islands of Java and Bali.
Based on waste analyses and other boundary conditions (e.g., availability of space, meteorological data), IQS was to develop a suitable plant concept taking into account European standards.
In addition, logistical issues (delivery, storage), possibilities for biogas production as well as a cost and financing model should also be developed.
