Feasibility study DeNOx in biomass cogeneration plant

Biomass Cogeneration Plant Brilon, Germany – Feasibility Study DeNOx

Measures to reduce emissions for the Brilon biomass cogeneration plant, Germany

The biomass power plant at the Brilon site is the energy center for supplying electricity and heat to the local industrial park. In order to be able to comply with the emission limits, especially with regard to NOx and CO, even after the amendment of the 17th BImSchV, Iqony Solutions (IQS) should investigate which of the primary and secondary measures to reduce NOx and CO emissions are already technically implemented at the Brilon site according to the state of the art and which measures could be retrofitted.

The proportionality of these measures should also be assessed from an economic point of view (profitability analysis).
