    Study for ensuring the steam supply of the Leuna refinery site

    Task:

    • The basis was a previous study on different implementation variants for the electricity and steam supply
    • Preferred variants were elaborated and assessed from a technical as well as commercial point of view
    • Analysis of the new construction with seven boiler systems
    • Refitting of the existing plants for natural gas was analyzed
    • Objective: saving CO2 emissions
